Practicum positions for doctoral psychology trainees.
Pasadena Clinical Group hosts PsyD and PhD students for practicum, intern, and postdoctoral training across our nine specialty areas. Our training emphasizes integrative, evidence-based practice in a real-world outpatient setting.
What we offer trainees
- Diverse caseload across anxiety, trauma, OCD, mood, couples, family, and group work — paced to your year in program and supervisor's recommendation.
- Individual supervision weekly with a licensed psychologist, plus group supervision and case consultation.
- Modality breadth — exposure to CBT, ACT, EMDR, Gottman, IFS, and trauma-informed group work, with structured training in at least two evidence-based modalities each year.
- Multicultural training — our staff and clients reflect the linguistic and cultural diversity of LA. Trainees who speak Spanish, Mandarin, Vietnamese, Hindi, Italian, Arabic, or Armenian are especially encouraged to apply.
- Real outpatient experience — intake, treatment planning, documentation, billing literacy, and ethical case management — the operational side of practice that programs often can't replicate.
Who we're looking for
Doctoral students in clinical or counseling psychology (PsyD or PhD) who are in their second year or later of program, with prior practicum experience and at least one course in evidence-based treatments. We also offer postdoctoral fellowship slots when funding permits — those are listed separately when available.
