Intensiv Ambulator Krog (IOP)
An Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) is a step between weekly therapy and inpatient care. It's the right level when weekly sessions aren't enough but a hospital isn't necessary — and for many people, it's the structure that finally helps things shift.
Our adult IOP runs 3 days per week, 3 hours per session, for a typical course of 6–12 weeks. The program combines group therapy (the core of the work), individual therapy with a dedicated clinician, family sessions when relevant, and skills-based modules drawing from CBT, DBT, ACT, and trauma-informed approaches.

A typical week includes group sessions, an individual session, and structured skills practice. Members track their work between sessions and build a relapse-prevention plan over the course of the program.
We coordinate with outside psychiatrists for medication management when relevant — the IOP itself is a therapy-only program. Most major insurance plans cover IOP-level care; verification is part of the intake process.
